The last segment in the three part series, with guest speaker: Brenda Easter.
Part three talks about Brenda’s coping after the loss of her son Zac and the pain of losing a loved one. She goes on to talk about how Zac inspired CTE Hope and their mission to support those who have suffered from the ill-effects of multiple concussions and traumatic brain injuries. Brenda goes on to tell Paolo that while the loss of her son was tragic, she had to keep going on for the sake of her family. She also talks about how one of the best ways to cope is to find a purpose and whichever situation you find yourself in, you can always find a passion to pursue in life. She goes on to describe ways to heal and cope by not forgetting a lost loved one, but to embrace them and be open to sharing their story in order to help others who may be in a similar situation. Brenda then talks about the research CTE Hope has done and their correlations between concussions and enzymes that might help prevent permanent brain trauma in regards to proper healing.
